You may assist in EC classrooms by reading books, doing art projects, helping with PE, supervising lunch, and other tasks as required. Are books your favorite thing ever? Is spending the day cozied up in a library your idea of bliss? Then join Mrs. Long as Librarian for the Day, and learn all of the "behind-the-scenes" work it takes to create and run a wonderful library! Perhaps you will get to select a book to read to our youngest students; maybe you will have a special organizing project; you may even be able to order a book or two for Mrs. Long! What a treat. This will be scheduled with you, Mrs. Long, and your homeroom teacher and will take place during the second half of the 2022/23 school year. ONE ENTRY PER STUDENT.

For your budding scientist, this is a priceless experience! Dr. Hudson Freeze is a world-renowned research scientist with his own lab at the Sanford Burnham Prebys Medical Discovery Institute. He studies processes related to how carbohydrates, lipids, and proteins interact and the pathology (disease) that results when things go awry. He's driven by the search for novel therapeutics to address these issues. The lucky winner will have a 1-hour private tour of the Freeze Lab with Dr. Freeze. Imagine! Enjoy a fabulous week of summer surf camp with Surf Education Academy! Located at La Jolla Shores, not only will you make new friends and hang out with old ones, but you will gain confidence in the ocean and learn to surf! This adventure must be used by August 31, 2023 and is not redeemable for surf lessons. There will be no credit or proration for missed classes.
